A behind the scenes look at: The making of the Public Service Announcement
In an effort to create excitement and awareness about careers with Department of Veterans Affairs, a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign was launched at the end of 2010. The 30-second PSA features the former star of "JAG", David James Elliott. Mr. Elliott graciously donated his time to VA and the minimal mandatory Screen Actors Guild (SAG) compensation to The Heroes Project (theheroesproject.org), supporting our soldiers, Veterans and their families -further emphasizing Mr. Elliott's personal commitment to VA's mission. The VA Public Service Announcement was distributed to 750 television stations and an additional 1,000 radio stations across the nation. Email
