Salary and Contract Benefits
Competitive salaries – VA Travel Nurse salaries, as well as lodging, travel, and per diem, are competitive with the travel nurse industry.

No service fees – VA is a non-profit Federal agency. Unlike some private sector travel nurse placement agencies, VA does not charge a fee for placing you in a TNC assignment.

Direct deposit – The Federal Government provides direct deposit for pay and travel reimbursements.

Government Citibank Travel Card – VA Travel Nurses have access to the online Citibank travel card Web site to monitor travel charges and payments.

Online HR information – No matter where you are in the VA system, you'll be able to view and make changes to your payroll information through our online human resources system, Employee Express.
