No contract Each employee is hired on an intermittent appointment. If you find a VA facility where you would like to be hired as staff, we will assist you in obtaining a permanent, full-time position at that facility.
No service fees VA is a non-profit Federal agency. Unlike some private sector travel nurse placement agencies, VA does not charge a fee for placing you in a TNC assignment.

Lodging ready ahead VA provides lodging and per diem the day before each assignment begins. (Government travel and per diem rules apply.)

Locations close to work VA provides you with a list of lodging facilities (hotels, extended stay hotels, and apartments) that are close to each of our assignment locations.
Maps and detailed instructions We also provide you with maps and instructions to guide you to and within your facility assignment.
Phone call support VA offers personal telephone call reimbursement while you are on assignment. Limitations apply.
Travel with family and pets As a VA Travel Nurse, you'll have this option but are responsible for any required pet deposits.
