As the largest program for advanced clinical pharmacy training in the country, the VA Pharmacy Residency Program offers you more practice settings and practice areas to choose from than anywhere else, and consists of 159 different American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited programs across the VA system. VA pharmacy residents can explore both inpatient and outpatient settings, often in the same building. Diverse specialty opportunities for both Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) and Postgraduate Year 2 (PGY2) pharmacy residents include:
