VA Physician Job Detail
SALARY: Applicant's education and length of practice (experience) will be considered by a Compensation Panel in determining the grade and salary of the applicant selected. The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy.
Relocation/Recruitment Incentive is negotiable for a highly qualified candidate.
The incumbent for this position may be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Please contact Human Resources at this medical center and speak with the EDRP Coordinator for additional information.
The physician should be board certified (preferred) or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and proficient in CT, Ultrasound, and general radiography. Capability in MRI and/or light IR is desirable but not required. Call responsibilities will be confined to telephonic consultations and emergency back-up to the after-hours teleradiology service. Radiology system is comprised of a hospital department in Muskogee and an outpatient clinic in Tulsa. The physician should possess a good working knowledge of voice recognition and picture archiving communication system (PACS). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
